Jamia Baitul Ateeq – Current Educational & Welfare Projects

“Where Lives Are Built” – Since 2004, Jamia Baitul Ateeq has been providing
completely free Islamic and formal education, accommodation, food, and basic
healthcare to more than 2,500 orphaned, underprivileged, and deserving boys and girls.

  • Foundational Islamic education, Nazrah, and Hifz-ul-Qur’an
  • Dars-e-Nizami (Alim Course) under Wifaq-ul-Madaris curriculum
  • Schooling: Nursery to Matric (under The Petrichor School)
  • Complete residential system: hostel, three daily meals, and basic healthcare
  • Strong focus on character-building, spiritual tarbiyah, and a reformed Islamic environment

Current Construction & Infrastructure Projects

Jamia Baitul Ateeq Grand Masjid

Total Area: Approx. 17,510 sq. ft. (Basement, Mezzanine, First Floor)
Status: Alhamdulillah, structural and finishing works are complete; five daily prayers and Taraweeh are ongoing.
Remaining Work: Installation of a 25–30 kW solar system and enhancement of CCTV and security systems.

Hostels & Residential Blocks

Boys’ & Girls’ Hostels: Expansion of existing rooms, provision of beds, cupboards, bathrooms, and laundry facilities for more students.
Teachers’ Flats: Construction and completion of dedicated residential flats for teaching staff is in progress.
Goal: To offer safe, dignified, and quality accommodation for maximum orphans and needy students.

School & Academic Blocks

The Petrichor School Building: Construction and finishing of classrooms, science lab, computer lab, and library for underprivileged children.
Dar-ul-Qur’an & Classrooms: Expansion of Dar-ul-Qur’an block, additional classrooms, and separate learning spaces for girls.
Girls’ Campus: Dedicated, secure building for girls with hostel, classrooms, and multipurpose hall.

IT & Skills Development Center

Project: Establishment of an IT and skills training center for boys and girls from low-income families, focusing on computers, freelancing, and digital skills.
Current Needs: Funding for computers, furniture, networking, and instructors.
Objective: To equip students with employable skills that support their families and contribute to Jamia’s financial sustainability.

Monthly Expenses & Support Opportunities

For more than 2,500 students, Jamia Baitul Ateeq bears daily expenses of three meals,
hostel facilities, teaching, books and stationery, teachers’ salaries, utilities,
transport, and other administration needs.

  • Approximate Monthly Operational Expenses: PKR 2.7 – 3.5 million (as per audit; operations only)
  • Food & Ration System: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the year
  • Teachers & Staff Salaries: For both Islamic and formal education departments
  • Utilities: Electricity, gas, water, and solar system maintenance
  • Healthcare: Medical support for needy and sick students

You can support this mission through fixed monthly sponsorships
(per student, per class, or per hostel bed) or by giving a
general monthly donation – such as PKR 500, PKR 1,000, or any amount
according to your capacity.
