Established in 2004 in Karachi, Jamia Baitul Ateeq serves 2,500+ male and female students through Quran education, Hifz, Dars-e-Nizami, school education, tarbiyah and student welfare.

Education
Jamia’s current public enrollment figure is 2,500+ students. The Petrichor School serves 650 students. Older programme allocations, including the former school figure of 600, have not been reconciled into a new precise overall total; such figures should not be summed into a current enrollment claim.
Residential Student Welfare
Jamia serves 2,500+ male and female students. Islamic and school education is completely free. Eligible and relevant students receive accommodation, meals, basic medical support and other welfare facilities according to programme and need, without charge. Approximately 950 students are currently residential.
Food Support
Food is a major variable recurring cost. The CSR campaign planning benchmark is approximately PKR 300 per student per day (approximately PKR 9,000 per 30 days); this is a planning benchmark, not an audited actual meal cost. The flour-use baseline is approximately 190 kg per day. Enrollment is not the same as residential or meal attendance, so the benchmark must not be multiplied by total enrollment to claim an actual daily cost. Market prices and the number of meals served can change actual expenditure; request the latest dated food requirement before making a large restricted contribution.

Recent management-provided monthly expenditure records are PKR 6,794,749 for July 2026 and PKR 6,730,183 for August 2026. The September 2026 expense-ledger total is PKR 8,260,284 (approximately 82.60 lakh), checked against the current Google Sheet on 14 October 2026. This recorded total is not proof of payment or a reconciled net shortfall. Management separately reports approximately PKR 8.2 million in September arrears; receipts and payments still require reconciliation. These dated ledger totals are not a fixed recurring budget or approved current fundraising target. For a major or restricted contribution, request the underlying financial statement and current requirement from Jamia.
Within Jamia’s operations, management separately reports monthly salaries of approximately PKR 1,250,000–1,275,000. This is part of operational spending, not an additional amount to add to the overall monthly baseline. School-network annual payroll is reported separately on its school page.

All four mosque-related rows below preserve historic PDF figures and source-era work descriptions only; they do not represent outstanding mosque construction. Historical per-square-foot estimate basis: the source presentation uses PKR 3,000 per sq ft for most pending floors and buildings, and PKR 1,500 per sq ft for the mosque basement (and the 2,862-sq-ft ground-floor/mezzanine section, as implied by its recorded PKR 4,293,000 total). These historic unit rates are not current market quotations. Source discrepancy to verify: Block 1 lists 4,881 sq ft of pending floor area at PKR 3,000 per sq ft, which mathematically equals PKR 14,643,000; however the PDF explicitly states PKR 14,683,000 — a PKR 40,000 difference. The register preserves the PDF amount without silently changing it, pending source-owner confirmation.
Important separation: this earlier Girls’ Madrasa buildings proposal (PKR 8,976,000) is not the same recorded transaction as the separately documented C-48 Women’s Campus renovation (PKR 1,173,260). The school-building estimate (PKR 21,600,000) is also separate from annual school staff salaries, books, and the proposed computer laboratory.
Before requesting construction funding: confirm the exact building identity and ownership, completed work, current site photographs, engineer-approved BOQ, itemized fresh quotations, expenditures already paid, remaining balance and project-specific restricted-fund records. Request the verified current scope through Jamia administration, or review the separate school and main mosque pages.
Current Development Priorities
- Main Jamia Masjid: the mosque building’s main construction is complete under the current institutional record. Only specified remaining works — minaret, windows, proposed solar and conditionally the exterior jali wall/kitchen work — are tracked for the current phase; verify their current stage and quotes. - Other campus buildings & residences: the source PDF separately lists three madrasa teaching/residential buildings (PKR 14,683,000, PKR 28,764,000 and PKR 27,081,000), teachers’ residential buildings 1+1 (PKR 44,160,000) and girls’ madrasa buildings 1+1 (PKR 8,976,000). These are source-era estimates, not current needs, expenditures or automatically the same locations as later C-48 renovations.
